Trujillo

We stayed at the beach resort of Huanchaco, next to the city of Trujillo. The locals still use the same reed fishing boats that the Chimu used a thousand years ago.

Trujillo itself is famous for it’s pastel-coloured buildings.

And we visited the wonderfully preserved Chimu city of Chan Chan, built over a thousand years ago in adobe.
