Lucknow

Lucknow is an old Mughal/British Raj town which was the scene of some early uprisings against British rule.

The Residency is a complex of Raj-era buildings left as they were after the notorious Indian Uprising of 1857.

Other highlights include the Bara Imambara and Chota Imambara tombs in the Heritage Area of the City.
