We’re Going Green….

We’re going green – well almost.  Spring is definitely on the way and there has been plenty of sun and rain.  This means that unfortunately in Morzine we have lost the snow and it has turned green.  It still looks beautiful, but is is not as beautiful as when the white stuff is around.  Then yesterday, there was another enormous dump of snow and it all came back again – for a few hours at least.

This change in the climate also heralds the changing of the guard.  We have already “lost” a couple of friends who have moved back home after finishing their jobs for the season.  And we also are starting to plan for the next phase of our holiday by looking at travel routes etc. Through India and South East Asia.

Having said all this, there is still an enormous amount of things to do.  The snow conditions have been so good that we have skied 24 days in March, and there is a lot of snow remaining before the mountains close on 15 and 22 April.  We are also looking to possibly do some cross-country skiing when the lower slopes get slushy.

So, whilst we have only four weeks left in Morzine, there is a lot to do.  We will make the most of our remaining time and then will try and catch up with as many people as possible before heading to Delhi on 17 May.
